Plumbing/Service Technician
We are looking for a motivated, responsible, hard-working, experienced plumber/service technician who is also able to provide excellent customer service. At Cary Plumbing our technicians perform a broad range of repair and replacement services. We do both residential and commercial work, primarily focusing on service.
This is a M-F hourly, full-time position. Your pay will be based on your knowledge and experience with opportunity for advancement and increase in pay. We offer benefits such as insurance (health, dental, vision), a fully stocked work truck, vacation as well as personal days and matched retirement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of plumbing field experience
- Must have experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing in regard to the residential plumbing industry
- Professional, outgoing, clean- cut, and drug-free
- Able to work in a team environment and follow direction from leadership
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Must possess own tools necessary to complete plumbing diagnosis, installation, maintenance, and/or repair
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to perform physical activity with no limitations or restrictions
- Must pass a background check
Job Duties:
- Weekly and weekend on-call rotations
- Able to assemble, install, maintain, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, in accordance with specifications and plumbing codes
- Be thorough in inspections, and accurate in quoting installation, maintenance, and/or repairs
- Maintain a clean job site and company vehicle
- Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely fashion to ensure proper billing and documentation
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and co-workers
- Arrive on time and prepared for each day
- Work hard, smart, and efficiently
- Participate in mandatory company meetings and training sessions
- Uphold and promote company morale to help maintain a professional and friendly work environment
